I’m Thomas Theakston, Art Curator, Consultant and Advisor responsible for over $4 million in art sales in under four years.
My career began as a junior art consultant, where I quickly learned that the art world isn’t just about creativity, it’s about strategy, positioning, and sales. Within three years I had moved into senior leadership roles, helping launch a major New York gallery and training sales teams responsible for millions in artwork sales.
Along the way I’ve:
• Curated and sold work at Art Miami for three consecutive years
• Managed online sales for more than 40 galleries
• Trained over 140 art sales professionals
• Helped artists and galleries position their work for real commercial success
But my experience isn’t only in the art world.
At 17, I built my first online business and since then have founded and grown three successful ecom stores, combining creativity with commercial strategy.
Today, I bring that experience together to help artists understand the business side of art, so they can sell their work, build collectors, and create sustainable careers.
